Official Rules & Conditions

1 Entry & Eligibility

  • Every paid admission ticket to Harvest Fair 2026 represents one entry into the Grand Prize Draw.
  • Entries are registered through the official Harvest Fair ticketing system.
  • Each admission ticket represents one ballot entry, regardless of whether multiple tickets are purchased in the same transaction.
  • Entrants are responsible for providing accurate registration and WhatsApp contact information.
  • No additional purchase beyond the Harvest Fair admission ticket is required to enter the draw.

2 Winner Selection & Prize Collection

  • The Grand Prize Draw will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
  • One winner will be randomly selected from the registered eligible entries.
  • The selected winner will be contacted using their registered WhatsApp number.
  • The winner must be physically present at the Harvest Fair to claim the prize.
  • The winner is not required to remain at the draw location while waiting for the announcement.
  • The winner will have approximately one hour following the draw to report to the designated prize collection area.
  • The prize must be claimed in person no later than 2:00 PM on November 7, 2026.
  • If the prize is not claimed by the deadline, the organizers reserve the right to forfeit that entry and select another winner.
  • The winner may be required to provide identification and confirmation of their registered entry.

3 The Grand Prize

The winner will receive a complimentary two-night stay at Vista Ridge Villa, located in Tower Isle, St. Mary, Jamaica.

The prize includes:

  • Two nights of villa accommodation.
  • Accommodation for a maximum of 10 guests, including the winner.
  • Private chef services.
  • Butler services.
  • Housekeeping services.
  • Access to the villa's facilities and amenities in accordance with standard house rules.

The prize covers the accommodation and listed staffing services only.

4 Booking Conditions & Prize Validity

  • The prize must be used within 12 months of the draw date.
  • The stay must be completed no later than November 7, 2027.
  • All reservations are strictly subject to villa availability and confirmation by the villa host.
  • No bookings are permitted during public holidays or designated holiday periods.
  • The two-night reservation must include at least one Sunday-through-Thursday night. A Friday/Saturday-only stay is not permitted.
  • The villa host reserves the right to black out any dates at their sole discretion.
  • Preferred dates must be requested directly from the villa host.
  • No reservation is guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
  • Unused or expired prizes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for alternative compensation.

5 Additional Nights

The winner may request to extend their stay beyond the complimentary two nights.

  • Additional nights are subject to availability and host approval.
  • Additional nights will be charged at the villa's applicable rate.
  • All extension costs are the responsibility of the winner.
  • Extensions must be arranged and confirmed directly with the villa host.

6 Food, Beverages & Chef Services

Private chef services are included with the prize; however, all food, groceries, beverages, and related purchasing costs are the responsibility of the winner and their guests.

  • Guests may bring their own groceries and beverages or arrange for the villa chef to shop on their behalf.
  • If the chef undertakes grocery shopping, the winner is responsible for the full cost of all purchases.
  • Menu planning and grocery arrangements must be coordinated with the chef before arrival.
  • Transportation, gratuities, personal expenses, and any additional services are not included.

7 Villa Rules & Guest Responsibilities

The winner and all accompanying guests must comply with Vista Ridge Villa's standard terms, house rules, safety policies, and staff instructions.

The winner accepts responsibility for:

  • The behaviour and actions of all accompanying guests.
  • Proper care and respectful use of the villa, furnishings, equipment, and amenities.
  • Any damage, breakage, loss, or excessive cleaning resulting from the group's occupancy.
  • Payment of the cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing property caused by the winner or accompanying guests.
  • Ensuring the maximum occupancy of 10 guests is not exceeded.

The winner is responsible for communicating these conditions to everyone in their group.

All normal villa policies apply throughout the stay.

The villa host reserves the right to enforce these policies and take appropriate action in the event of serious violations.

8 Liability & Release of the Canadian Women's Club of Jamaica

The Canadian Women's Club of Jamaica (CWC) is the organizer of the Harvest Fair and Grand Prize Draw.

The accommodation prize is provided by Vista Ridge Villa.

CWC does not own, operate, or manage Vista Ridge Villa and is not responsible for the administration or delivery of the accommodation stay.

By accepting and using the prize, the winner acknowledges that:

  • The villa stay is subject to the terms and conditions established by Vista Ridge Villa.
  • All arrangements concerning reservations, accommodation, staffing, and use of the property are between the winner and the villa host.
  • CWC, its officers, members, volunteers, and event organizers shall not be responsible for loss, injury, accident, illness, theft, property damage, or other incidents arising from or connected with the villa stay, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
  • The winner assumes responsibility for the conduct of accompanying guests and any damage they cause.
  • The winner agrees to release and hold harmless CWC and its representatives from claims, costs, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these conditions excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9 General Conditions

  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The prize is subject to all published conditions and applicable villa policies.
  • The winner must coordinate all booking arrangements directly with the villa host.
  • Any costs beyond the specifically included prize benefits remain the responsibility of the winner.
  • The villa host retains final authority over availability, booking dates, blackout periods, occupancy, and property-related matters.
  • Acceptance and use of the prize constitutes agreement to these published terms and conditions.

10 Prize Acceptance

The winner will be required to acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions when claiming the prize.

The winner may also be required to complete the villa's standard guest registration and accommodation agreement before the stay.
