Because a private villa is booked as one property rather than as individual hotel rooms, the nightly rate is shared across the whole group — which is often what makes a villa surprisingly good value for larger parties.
Start with your nightly accommodation budget and multiply it by the number of nights. The calculator above uses an illustrative default amount rather than a quoted rate — replace it with whatever figure you are planning around.
At a fully staffed villa, chef service is included, but groceries and beverages are purchased separately by guests. A typical grocery budget for chef-prepared meals is roughly US$30–40 per person per day, depending on menus, dietary preferences and drinks.
Airport transfers are arranged separately through licensed providers and are not part of the villa rental. Round-trip transfer costs vary by airport, group size and vehicle requirements, so it is worth budgeting per person.
Excursion prices change with season and group size, so there is no single reliable number. Plan per activity and note whether the cost is per person or a shared group expense — mixing the two up is one of the most common budgeting mistakes.
Decorations, cakes, flowers and private entertainment are optional and typically arranged with external providers, subject to availability and approval.
Guests commonly budget around 15–18% of the villa rental cost as a discretionary thank-you to the full villa team. This is a customary tip, not a mandatory villa charge.
